Our Righteous Father Titus the Wonderworker.
Little is known of Saint Titus except that he took up the monastic life from his youth, became the abbot of a monastery, and reposed in peace.
Note: The Menaion service for Saint Titus says that he was ordained a priest, and the third and fourth Troparia of the seventh Ode of the Canon to him, by Saint Theophanes the Branded, suggest that he was also a Confessor for the holy Icons:
Thou abodest unchanging in thy confession of faith, O Father Titus; for in portraying and circumscribing Christ in the flesh, thou didst worship Him and shout: O God of our Fathers, blessed art Thou.
Bearing the marks of Jesus the Master in thy body, O Father, heal also me that am wounded with the arrow of Belial, for I shout: O God of our Fathers, blessed art Thou.
