The holy Martyrs Basilissa and Anastasia.
Saints Basilissa and Anastasia were high-born and wealthy Roman women who, in the reign of Nero, became disciples of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, whom they buried after their martyrdom, coming by night and secretly taking their holy relics. When Nero got wind of this, he demanded they renounce Christ. When they refused, he had them imprisoned; when questioned again, and again refusing to deny, they were hung up and their breasts, hands, feet, tongues, and finally their heads were cut off.
